Our little girls are finally HOME! They came home a week ago, and of course it's been quite hectic around the Tidwell home.. Dani is still on a little bit of oxygen and at night they both are on monitors (yes the beeping is wonderful). They have grown so much, on Thu Dani was 5.7 lbs and Jaci was 5.9 lbs. They are gaining so quickly I bet they're about 6 Lbs by now. I know that doesn't sound big to you guys, but less than 6 weeks ago they were 3 lbs!
We absolutely love having them home! We have had SO much help from family and friends, and now that everybody is gone, I miss all the company!
I have 7 more weeks off of school, so I get to spend some time with the beautiful ladies!
Oh and since a lot of you are moms out there does anyone have remedies on helping tommy aches. These girls will just SCREAM! I've tried mylocon and a couple random things, but now I'm desperate!

Hey Marion, your girls are so adorable. Well I'm not a mom, but working with sick kids I've had my fair share of dealing with tummy aches. You can try putting a warm wash cloth on their belly and very softly massage it. Also, if they can tolerate it sometimes lying them on their belly (while you're watching) for a little bit can help. Good luck with everything!
Congrats Marion. What beautiful girls. When my little boy had tummy aches, I would exercise his legs like he was riding a bike and it would help all those bubbles work there way out. Might try it...usually within a few minutes of doing that he would let out a bunch of gas or poop and he felt much better. :)
Marion, They are so dang CUTE!!! I am not sure what to tell ya about the belly aches, I have used the mylocon with both my boys and it usually worked.. Dang it, that is wont work for the girls:( Sorry!! but they are Super dang cute and So glad they are doing so good! and that you can finally relax in your own house:)
They are both so cute! I am glad it is all going well and you get more time off work to spend with your little ones. They have grown and look healthy. I am a mom but have no clue what helps!!! Good luck and keep posting pictures of your cute girls.
How exciting to finally have them home! They are adorable, and I love all of their hair. Hali was really fussy and we had a really hard time pin-pointing what was really wrong with her. Someone suggested Gripe Water for her fussiness. It didn't always work, but it is worth a try. I hope you find a solution. Nothing is harder than hearing your babies cry. Take care!
I'm so glad they are finally home! Yeah! They are darling. As for the tummy ache, I also have used gripe water, and it worked pretty well. I also have tried colic drops from the health food store (Good Earth). So, you could try those! Good luck!

Marion,
My little baby Taylee was the WORST with tummy aches. Two things actually worked for me, pink mints you can get them at lins or christensens in warm water, or even just some sugar in water. It worked wonders on my little baby..
